On this CD LYGOPHOBIA we can find six songs who you might find uninteresting after the first listen and you might think they all sound the same, but after giving it a second (and don't stop at this number) try, you'll start thinking the complete opposite, the songs are unique in a way. Who likes more extreme genres will not find much fun here, but if you like slower and more emotive music, you'll enjoy the album. The CD is charming at times, charismatic, the female vocals will please all who like this. Of course also the guitarists and drummers vocals are good, but the female parts are much better I think.

Music of this band is friendly to a wider audience of listeners and it's not disturbing in any way. When I mentioned that the male voices are also good, this applies twice in the song The Sleepwalker. Sometimes some solo guitar can be heard, original and inventive. The music is light, dynamic, full of melodic elements. Mostly the violin and the flutes are nice to listen to. When you're starting to be bored, then these two come in and you're enjoying the music again. This usually applies for a wide range of doom bands.

If I sum it all up, EVERLASTING DARK is a good band that make a well listenable music, now it's up to them how they'll face their future and I hope they'll continue in making their music like now.
